Introduction of NC Flame Cutting and Plasma Cutting Operation Technology of Steel Plate
What are the operating procedures and precautions for CNC flame cutting of steel plates and plasma cutting of steel plates——
During automatic cutting, hoist the steel plate to the gas cutting platform, and adjust the distance difference between the two ends of the steel plate and the guide rail within 5mm. When cutting semi-automatically, the guide rail should be placed on the plane for cutting the steel plate, and then the tool should be lightly placed on the guide rail. Turn the side with the torch towards the operator, select the cutting nozzle according to the thickness of the steel plate, and adjust the cutting straightness and cutting speed.
According to the difference between automatic cutting and semi-automatic cutting, adjust the distance of each cutting gun, determine the amount of drag, and consider the compensation of the slit. During the cutting process, the size and direction of the inclination angle of the torch are mainly determined by the thickness of the steel plate. When gas cutting thick plates, the cutting nozzle should be perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece. After cutting the entire section, move the cutting nozzle and switch to normal gas cutting. When the gas cutting is about to reach the end, slow down slightly to completely cut the lower part of the cut.
Adjust cutting parameters according to sheet thickness, including cutting nozzle model, oxygen pressure, cutting speed, preheating flame energy, etc. The selection of process parameters is mainly based on the type of gas cutting machine and the thickness of the steel plate that can be cut. For uncut steel plates, try to cut similar steel plates, determine the cutting parameters, and check the patency of the cutting nozzle gas.
Before gas cutting, remove the dirt and grease on the steel surface, and leave a certain space below to facilitate slag blowing. During gas cutting, the movement of the torch should be kept at a constant speed. The distance between the surface of the cutting piece and the tip of the flame center is 2 to 5 mm. If the distance is too close, the edge of the cut will melt, and if the distance is too far, the heat will be insufficient, and the cutting will be easily interrupted.
When cutting thick plates, the preheating flame should be large, and the length of gas cutting air flow should exceed 1/3 of the thickness of the workpiece. The inclination angle between the cutting nozzle and the surface of the workpiece is about 10-20°, so that the edge of the part is heated evenly.
