The steel plate is a flat steel material that is poured with molten steel and pressed after cooling.


It is flat, rectangular, and can be rolled directly or cut from a wide steel strip.


Classification of steel plates: steel plates are classified according to thickness, thin steel plates < 4 mm (thinnest 0.2 mm), medium-thick steel plates 4-60 mm, and extra-thick steel plates 60-115 mm.


Steel plates are divided into hot rolling and cold rolling according to rolling. The width of the thin plate is 500~1500 mm; the width of the thick plate is 600~3000 mm.


Sheets are divided into steel types, including ordinary steel, high-quality steel, alloy steel, spring steel, stainless steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, bearing steel, silicon steel and industrial pure iron sheets, etc.;


According to the professional use, there are plates for oil drums, enamel plates, bulletproof plates, etc.; according to the surface coating, there are galvanized sheets, tinned sheets, lead-plated sheets, plastic composite steel sheets, etc.
